Center-driven sludge scraper

I. Purpose:

Center-driven sludge scrapers are suitable for radial flow sedimentation tanks in wastewater treatment plants. Their main function is to scrape the sludge settled at the bottom of the tank into a sludge collection pit for sludge return or thickening and dewatering. Depending on the situation, a surface scraping mechanism can also be installed to collect surface scum and discharge it outside the tank through a scum funnel.

Center-driven sludge scrapers can be classified into center-driven suspended sludge scrapers and center-driven vertical frame sludge scrapers based on their structural form. When the center-driven suspended sludge scraper is running, the drive shaft is rotated by a drive unit mounted on the working bridge. As the drive shaft rotates, it causes the scraper arms on both sides to rotate around the central axis of the tank.
